The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation recently sold its George Street property to Waycross Heating and Cooling. This established Waycross business will soon be relocating its headquarters to George Street for its operations. Waycross Heating and Cooling has a unique tie to our college aside from purchasing the property from the Foundation. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recently donated to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation. This $25,000 donation will be used for the scholarship and endowment program that was created in January of 2022 to invest in the next generation of Georgia’s commercial fishermen. The Harley Langdale Jr. Foundation pledges to support Coastal Pines Technical College's (CPTC) Timber Harvesting Program for the next five years with a donation amount of $75,000 to the CPTC Foundation. The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation hosted the 8th annual Sporting Clays Tournament on April 22, 2023 at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve in Midway, Ga.
