Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation Welcomes Scott Johnson to Board of Trustees

The Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Johnson of Glynn County to its Board of Trustees.

Johnson currently serves as Operations Manager for Wallenius Wilhelmsen and brings more than 29 years of experience in finished vehicle logistics and automotive supply chain management. Throughout his career, he has held numerous leadership positions within the logistics industry, including Brunswick Port Operations Manager and Brunswick Port Manager for Hyundai Glovis.

A native of Waycross, Georgia, Johnson attended College of Coastal Georgia and Waycross College, where he earned Dean's List honors with a 4.0 GPA while balancing his academic pursuits with his professional career.

"We are excited to welcome Scott to the Foundation Board of Trustees," said Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement. "His extensive industry experience, leadership background, and commitment to serving others will be a tremendous asset as we continue supporting Coastal Pines students and advancing workforce development throughout Southeast Georgia."

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Johnson has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to community service and leadership. An Eagle Scout, he has served as both Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. He is also active as a church youth leader and participates in his local Chamber of Commerce.

Johnson is a dedicated father of two and proud grandfather of four. He resides in Brunswick, Georgia, where he remains actively involved in both his profession and community.

The Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees serves as a volunteer leadership body dedicated to advancing the mission of the College through advocacy, resource development, and support for student success initiatives. Foundation trustees represent business, industry, and community leaders from across the College's 13-county service area.
