The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Police Department recently hosted the GBI’s Bomb Threats and Suspicious Packages training on the Waycross campus. This training was open to area agencies who were interested in some continuing education for their agencies.
Topics covered by the GBI were “how to respond to threats or attacks”, “how to evaluate threats”, “how to search for explosive threats”, and “how to evacuate”. Personnel from 16 area agencies came to the training on Monday, September 12, 2022, from Ware County, Coffee County, Pierce County, Brunswick, and Brantley Counties.
