The Coastal Pines Technical College Board of Directors recently held their monthly meeting and were able to recognize and congratulate two board members who were rolling off of active duty.
Toni Nelson of Ware County, former Vice Chair of the Board, and Lee Gowen of Charlton County, Board member, both served their last meeting of the term at the June meeting. Mr. Gowen and Mrs. Nelson have both served three consecutive three-year terms for a total of nine years of service to the College and their individual communities. Board Chair, Lee Lewis, presented both of them with their certificates for service to the College.
Coastal Pines Technical College’s Local Board of Directors is composed of members representing the college’s designated thirteen-county service area. The CPTC board members represent a variety of business, industry, and economic development backgrounds and bring with them a wealth of experience and wisdom.
