The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation recently received a $20,000 donation from the Terry Thomas Foundation that will be allocated to the Terry Thomas Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will continue to be used for Glynn County students who are attending Coastal Pines Technical College.
The Terry Thomas Foundation, located in Glynn County on Sea Island, was established in 2004. Ms. Thomas passed away in 2011, but her Foundation continues to have a powerful impact on her community. Susan Goodhue, Executive Director of the Terry Thomas Foundation presented the check to Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement with Coastal Pines Technical College.
“The continued support of the Terry Thomas Foundation means so much to the college. Their generous donation will go on to support and impact our students in the Golden Isles community in their educational endeavours.” states Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement.
