Brunswick, GA — Landrise, a Brunswick-based company, has donated $25,000 to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation to support students pursuing careers in the construction industry. The contribution will provide both immediate scholarship assistance and long-term funding through the establishment of a new endowment.
Of the total donation, $20,000 will be used to create the Landrise Endowment, which will sustain the Landrise Scholarship for future generations of students. The remaining funds will be used to provide immediate scholarship support.
The scholarship is available to CPTC students across the college’s entire service delivery area, regardless of campus location, who are enrolled in construction-related programs. Funds may be used to cover qualified educational expenses, including tuition, books, equipment, supplies, and other fees directly related to a student’s program of study.
“The Landrise Endowment and Scholarship reflect a shared commitment to investing in the future workforce,” said Lonnie Roberts, President of Coastal Pines Technical College. “This generous gift helps remove financial barriers while encouraging students to pursue rewarding, in-demand careers in the skilled trades.”
The purpose of the Landrise Endowment and Scholarship Fund is to support and inspire the next generation of skilled trades professionals by expanding access to education and training in the construction industry. Eligible programs include:
- Air Conditioning Technology
- Basic Electrical Technician
- Basic Heavy Equipment Operator
- Certified Construction Worker
- Drafting
- NCCER Carpentry Fundamentals
- NCCER Basic Electrical
- NCCER Intermediate Electrical
- NCCER Plumber’s Assistant

LANDRISE’s investment strengthens CPTC’s mission to provide workforce-ready graduates who meet the growing demand for skilled professionals across Southeast Georgia. “There is so much opportunity in the building trades for people willing to learn the skills and work hard,” said Zac Moxley, CEO of LANDRISE. “I encourage young people to explore these programs at CPTC because they offer a pathway to very rewarding careers.”
