On Monday, August 8, 2022, Okefenokee EMS and Satilla Medical Supplies donated a large quantity of various medical supplies to Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) through the CPTC Foundation. Valued at around $5,000, this donation of IV supplies, catheters, immobilization, burn sheets, obstetrics, dressings, and other medical supplies to the CPTC Foundation will greatly benefit the Allied Health programs at the college.

“We greatly appreciate the generosity and support from our community business partners. All donations increase our ability to meet our missions by providing workforce development to the communities that we serve.”, stated Amanda Morris, Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Donations like those of Okefenokee EMS and Satilla Medical Supplies will help our Nurse Aide, Practical nursing, ,Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Technology, and EMS programs continue to provide top-tier instruction so that students graduate knowing how to do their jobs with instruments and supplies that are currently being used in the field.
