Rayonier Advanced Materials recently presented a $1,500 donation to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation. Kellie Shanklin, a Rayonier employee, came to the Jesup Instructional Site to present the check to the Director of Institutional Advancement, Stephanie Roberts. This generous donation from Rayonier Advanced Materials will be given to the General Scholarship Fund to assist students who may need it.
"CPTC Foundation is very thankful for longtime community partners like Rayonier Advanced Materials. Their continued support of our students is crucial for our success. The donation of $1500 will be used directly for scholarships for our students. Rayonier Advanced Materials Foundations provide grants in education to support STEM and manufacturing careers and we are thankful to be chosen once again to receive funding", states Stephanie Roberts, Director of Institutional Advancement.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants to assist students in pursuit of higher education. CPTC graduates contribute to a pool of highly qualified workers that attract new industries and sustain existing workforce needs.
