Carley McDonald Named as Vice President for Student Affairs

Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) is proud to announce the appointment of Carley McDonald as Vice President for Student Affairs.

Carley has worked for Coastal Pines in various roles over her ten-year tenure with the college but has been with the Technical College System of Georgia for a total of thirteen years. She started her career at Coastal Pines on the Jesup campus in 2013 as a Dual Enrollment Coordinator and served in that role for eight years before being promoted to Associate Director of Dual Enrollment & Recruitment in 2021. She was named as Admissions Director in 2023 before being promoted to Vice President for Student Affairs. In her current role, she is charged with developing and maintaining a system of services for students that include financial aid, student activities, disability and special populations services, career services and student navigation, recruitment, and admissions. Carley is a long-time Wayne County resident and lives there with her husband and son.

Coastal Pines Technical College offers associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit, as well as continuing education opportunities, economic development services, and adult education courses.
