The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always our first priority. From the onset of the pandemic in Georgia, Coastal Pines has followed COVID-19 guidance from the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and will continue to do so. Coastal Pines continues to monitor ongoing developments and will update this web page accordingly.

As of Monday, November 14, 2022, we are no longer requesting reporting of nor providing guidelines for COVID. Students and staff should follow their doctor recommendations.

Be Like Blue Memorial Scholarship Established

Rayonier Makes Donation to the CPTC Forestry Program

The Rayonier Community Fund awarded the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation with a $2,000 donation. This donation will assist with supplies and other programmatic expenses for the CPTC Forestry Program. Donation Received to Create New Terry Thomas Memorial Scholarship

The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation received a $20,000 donation from the Terry Thomas Foundation to create the new Terry Thomas Memorial Scholarship. This new scholarship will be used for Glynn County students who are attending Coastal Pines Technical College. USDA Grant Allows for Purchase of New Equipment

Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) was recently awarded $134,215.00 in grant funds by the USDA. Funds from this grant were used to purchase a new Freightliner CA126SLP semi-truck with an automatic transmission for the Commercial Truck Driving (CTD) program at the CPTC Waycross Campus.
