The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation received a $20,000 donation from the Terry Thomas Foundation to create the new Terry Thomas Memorial Scholarship. This new scholarship will be used for Glynn County students who are attending Coastal Pines Technical College.

The Terry Thomas Foundation, located in Glynn County on Sea Island, was established in 2004. Ms. Thomas passed away in 2011, but her Foundation continues to have a powerful impact on her community. Susan Goodhue, Executive Director of the Terry Thomas Foundation presented the check to Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement with Coastal Pines Technical College.

"The TTF has been a huge supporter to the College for many years. The creation of the Terry Thomas Scholarship is another exciting way that they can offer support and impact the Glynn County area directly. We are so appreciative of their ongoing support and look forward to awarding these scholarships to deserving Glynn County students." states Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement.
