Coastal Pines Foundation Receives Role Model Board Designation

Posted on

Last week, the Technical College Foundation Association (TCFA) announced Coastal Pines Technical College’s (CPTC) Foundation as receiving the designation of “Role Model Board.” A Role Model Board is one in which all Trustees are actively engaged in the work of the board, through regular attendance at board and committee meetings, college and foundation events, participation in leadership activities, personal professional development, and fundraising on behalf of the board. Coastal Pines was one of only 12 out of 22 technical college Foundation boards to receive this designation.

“Special thanks for all of the CPTC Foundation Trustees’ hard work over the past year ensuring that we stay a Role Model Certified Board. I am so proud of their hard work and dedication to CPTC students.” stated Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement.

The CPTC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization led by a volunteer board selected from the community. The Foundation provides a legal vehicle to solicit, receive, invest, and disburse funds. The Foundation Board organizes and actively promotes annual fund drives, as well as special capital campaigns, designed to raise funds from the private sector.
