The Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation recently awarded two WaveMaker Scholarships during the second WaveMaker New Student Orientation event held on the Jesup Campus.
The $500 scholarships were presented to students who previously participated in Dual Enrollment at Coastal Pines Technical College and have chosen to continue their educational journey through the WaveMaker Program.
The scholarship recipients include:
- Reese Walker, Pierce County High School
- Alexandra Tavera, Wayne County High School
The WaveMaker Program is a degree completion pathway designed specifically for high school graduates who earned college credit through Dual Enrollment while in high school. The program provides students with a seamless transition into college through a structured admissions and enrollment process, while also connecting them with dedicated faculty, staff, and support services focused on student success.
The orientation event welcomed new WaveMaker students to the Jesup Campus and provided an opportunity for participants to learn more about available resources, academic programs, and pathways to career success.
