The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation received a $5,000 donation from the Hope 1312 Collective organization. The donation was used to set up the Hope 1312 Scholarship for Coastal Pines Technical College students. The scholarship will be available for students to apply for beginning Summer Semester 2023. This scholarship will be used to assist students not only with their tuition and fees but, any books and supplies related to their program as well.

Hope 1312 Collective is an agency who offers services, trainings, and resources that provide for children who have some sort of relationship with the child welfare system.

To qualify for this scholarship, students should be accepted and registered for classes at the College and must be residents of Glynn, Camden, or McIntosh counties. Students must also have satisfactory academic performance. Additionally, students will be asked to briefly explain the interaction with DFCS system.

“We are excited to be entering in this partnership with the Hope 1312 Collective. It is our goal to assist our students where they are, and this is just one more way the CPTC Foundation can do that. We are thankful that the HOPE 1312 Collective recognized that partnering with us further assists these students.”, stated Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement.
