Satilla REMC Foundation Donates to CPTC Foundation

Posted on

The Satilla REMC Foundation has generously donated to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation, strengthening scholarship support for students across the college. The contribution includes $10,000 for the CPTC Foundation’s general scholarship fund and an additional $10,000 designated to support students enrolled in the Electrical Lineworker Program.

The general scholarship funds will assist students in a wide range of programs by helping offset educational expenses such as tuition, books, and required fees. The dedicated support for the Electrical Lineworker Program will help prepare students for careers in the energy and utilities industry, an essential workforce across Southeast Georgia.

“Support from partners like the Satilla REMC Foundation makes a meaningful difference for our students,” said Lonnie Roberts, President at Coastal Pines Technical College. “We are grateful for their continued investment in Coastal Pines and for recognizing the importance of education and workforce training.”

The Satilla REMC Foundation has a longstanding commitment to education and community development, and this gift further reinforces its support of workforce training initiatives that benefit both students and the region’s employers.
