Foundation News

The mission of the Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation, Inc. (CPTC Foundation) is to further the mission and goals of Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) by providing financial and other essential support to fund emerging and existing academic initiatives and priorities.


The CPTC Foundation regularly receives donations from local stakeholders. Members of the Board of Trustees and the President of Coastal Pines Technical College, as well as other college faculty and staff accept donations on behalf of the CPTC Foundation.

Charles B. Eames Library Announced at 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation hosted a 10-year anniversary celebration on the college’s Waycross campus on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. This celebration was to mark the 10th year of the Charles Eames Travel Fund Scholarship and the Charles Eames Scholarship. Hope 1312 Collective Donates to CPTC Foundation

The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation received a $5,000 donation from the Hope 1312 Collective organization. The donation was used to set up the Hope 1312 Scholarship for Coastal Pines Technical College students. The scholarship will be available for students to apply for beginning Summer Semester 2023. The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation received a $10,000 grant from the Terry Thomas Foundation. Waycross Bar Association Donates to CPTC Foundation for Student Scholarships

The Waycross Bar Association donated to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation to go towards student scholarships. Alexis Nolan, Waycross resident, and Associate of Applied Science Education student is the proud recipient of a $250 scholarship. Donations like these from community partners assist our students with tuition, fees, books, supplies and other program related expenses. Georgia Automotive Dealers Association Scholarship Awarded to Students

The CPTC Foundation recently awarded the Georgia Automotive Dealers Association (GADA) scholarship to 10 students in Automotive Collision and Automotive Repair programs for Fall Semester. Students in auto-technology, auto-collision, and other automotive related programs were eligible to apply for assistance from the Georgia Automobile Dealers Association Scholarship to offset any fees, costs of attendance, books, supplies and other educational expenses. Camden County Board of Education Donates to CPTC Foundation

The Camden County Board of Education has donated $30,000 to Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation. Satilla REMC Foundation Donates to Coastal Pines Technical College

On December 14, 2022, the Satilla REMC Foundation donated $20,000 to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation. The donations are broken in to two separate donations. Rayonier Community Fund Donates to CPTC Forestry Program

The Rayonier Community Fund awarded the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Forestry Program a $2000 donation to assist with with supplies such as Clinometers, diameter tapes (logging tapes), cruising vests, handheld compasses, and other programmatic expenses. National Board for Respiratory Care Donates to CPTC Foundation

The National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC) has donated $5,000 to start a Respiratory Care Scholarship for students enrolled in the Respiratory Care Program here at Coastal Pines Technical College.
