Each semester Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) recognizes students who have accomplished high academic achievement through the President’s List, Dean’s List and the Academic Achievement Award. The President's List recognizes full-time students who earned a semester GPA of 4.00 and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Satilla REMC Foundation Donates to Coastal Pines Technical College

On December 14, 2022, the Satilla REMC Foundation donated $20,000 to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation. The donations are broken in to two separate donations. One $10,000 check will be used toward scholarships for the Electrical Lineworker Program to directly support the students and costs associated with the program, including tuition, books, and supplies. Rayonier Community Fund Donates to CPTC Forestry Program

The Rayonier Community Fund awarded the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Forestry Program a $2000 donation to assist with with supplies such as Clinometers, diameter tapes (logging tapes), cruising vests, handheld compasses, and other programmatic expenses. The CPTC Forestry Program is currently taught on the Waycross campus and the Basic Timber Harvesting certificate can be earned at Pierce and Charlton County High Schools through the dual enrollment Program. National Board for Respiratory Care Donates to CPTC Foundation

The National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC) has donated $5,000 to start a Respiratory Care Scholarship for students enrolled in the Respiratory Care Program here at Coastal Pines Technical College. Coastal Pines Local Board Receives 100% Board Certification

The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Local Board of Directors recently received 100% Board Certification and was given the 100% Club Award. Only 14 of the 22 technical college boards received this award.
