The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation received a $5,000 donation from the Hope 1312 Collective organization. The donation was used to set up the Hope 1312 Scholarship for Coastal Pines Technical College students. The scholarship will be available for students to apply for beginning Summer Semester 2023. Coastal Pines Technical College has recently hired a new Respiratory Therapy Care instructor. Breanna Brown, a Jeff Davis County resident, will be teaching the program on the Waycross campus. Breanna is a 2011 graduate from The University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in psychology. Laura Waters, a Speech and Communications Instructor on the Golden Isles campus, has been named as the 2023 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction winner for Coastal Pines Technical College.
