Waycross Bar Association Donates to CPTC Foundation for Student Scholarships

The Waycross Bar Association donated to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation to go towards student scholarships. Alexis Nolan, Waycross resident, and Associate of Applied Science Education student is the proud recipient of a $250 scholarship. Donations like these from community partners assist our students with tuition, fees, books, supplies and other program related expenses. Rick Perkins Award Winning Instructor Named for Coastal Pines

Laura Waters, a Speech and Communications Instructor on the Golden Isles campus, has been named as the 2023 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction winner for Coastal Pines Technical College. Laura has been with CPTC since August 1st, 2018. She is the Lead Instructor serving several disciplines: Employability, Political Science, Religion, Music and Spanish. Georgia Automotive Dealers Association Scholarship Awarded to Students

The CPTC Foundation recently awarded the Georgia Automotive Dealers Association (GADA) scholarship to 10 students in Automotive Collision and Automotive Repair programs for Fall Semester. The Camden County Board of Education has donated $30,000 to Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation. Satilla REMC Foundation Donates to Coastal Pines Technical College

On December 14, 2022, the Satilla REMC Foundation donated $20,000 to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation. The donations are broken in to two separate donations. Rayonier Community Fund Donates to CPTC Forestry Program

The Rayonier Community Fund awarded the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Forestry Program a $2000 donation to assist with with supplies such as Clinometers, diameter tapes (logging tapes), cruising vests, handheld compasses, and other programmatic expenses.
