Register for Classes and Next Steps

Once you have completed the admission process, the next steps in the enrollment process are attend new student orientation, register, and pay for classes. All students are required to meet with an Academic Advisor prior to registering to review their program requirements and develop an academic plan.

Advisement is mandatory for all students.

New Student Orientation is recommended for all new students. It will help prepare you for your transition to Coastal Pines Technical College. Orientation is designed to provide you with an overview of how the College operates, where to go when you need support services, and how to get prepared to enter the workforce upon completion of your degree.

The Academic Advisement division is responsible for advising new students. Each academic advisor is responsible for several program areas. Students can make an appointment with the academic advisor of their needed program by following the links below.

How to Register For Classes

All students will register through their MYCPTC Stingray Experience Student Portal. Once logged in you will select the Register for Classes Card, and it will allow you to begin the registration process.

You will need to have your OKTA Account Setup Completed and CPTC OKTA Single Sign On (SSO) authorized. To better assist new students, we have created help guides to assist you in the initial login process.

How to Pay for Classes

Registration is not complete until tuition and fees are paid by the published deadline. Students are responsible for ensuring their account balance is paid in full by the deadline. Students with an account balance on the published payment deadline will be dropped from all classes for non-payment. The Coastal Pines student email account is the official means of communication with students.
