The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always our first priority. From the onset of the pandemic in Georgia, Coastal Pines has followed COVID-19 guidance from the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and will continue to do so. Coastal Pines continues to monitor ongoing developments and will update this web page accordingly.

As of Monday, November 14, 2022, we are no longer requesting reporting of nor providing guidelines for COVID. Students and staff should follow their doctor recommendations.

Tropical Storm Nicole Update

Coastal Pines Technical College is continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Nicole and the subsequent inclement weather. At this time, there are no plans to close any CPTC campuses. Any changes or updates will be shared on our college website, and Coastal Pines Technical College social media channels.



CPTC Waycross Open House Postponed

Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) has postponed the Thursday evening Open House event due to the impending threat of inclement weather from Tropical Storm Nicole. The event will be rescheduled for a later date that will be announced in the near future. Free applications will be still be sponsored by the Terry Thomas Foundation, a local foundation to the Golden Isles area from 8am-6pm on November 10, 2022. CPTC Foundation Hosts Successful Golf Tournament

The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation hosted its annual John P. Pike Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament on Friday, October 14, 2022. Coastal Pines Hires New Surgical Technology Instructor and New Cohort Begins in January
