What is the Federal Work Study (FWS) Program?
FWS is a work program for students through Coastal Pines Technical College funded by the federal government on and off campus. FWS provides opportunities for students to earn money to help with financial needs while in school. Student may be eligible for up to 19 hours per week. The current pay rate for the FWS program is $15 per hour. Students may be eligible for the FWS Program if they are
- Pell Eligible
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the semester
- Making Satisfactory Academic progress
Applicants must also complete the Federal Work Study Financial aid worksheet to determine the amount of hours the student is eligible for. Interested Students should complete the Financial Aid worksheet and submit it online.
